Ms. Allen joined Amethyst as and Executive Assistant. Her primary role is, answering phones and routing calls to the correct person or taking messages. Researching and conducting data to prepare documents for review and presentation by boards of directors, committees, and executives. Using various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software. Accurately recording minutes from meetings. She works on maintaining Amethyst medical records according to agency, state, and federal standards. She maintains the confidentiality, unique identification, security, and physical safety of health records. She assists with documents that need to be filed into charts, assuring the process is completed in a timely manner. She also assists with responding to requests for the release of information in accordance with state, national and agency standards, policy and procedures, and HIPAA as needed. Ms.Allen participates in internal audit and review of health records for completeness, accuracy and updated personal data. In addition to medical records duties, she performs a number of clerical tasks, including data entry, filing, and scheduling appointments.
